You don't have to carry everything alone.
Life can get heavy.
Maybe anxiety has you second-guessing everything. Maybe you're going through a major life change and don't feel like yourself anymore. Maybe you're trying to hold everything together while also loving someone with a mental illness.
Whatever brought you here, you don't have to go through it on your own.
Therapy is one of the few places where you don't have to have the right words or all the answers. You can cry if you need to. Ramble if that's where your mind goes. Sit quietly if you don't know where to start.
Not sure if you want therapy, or if I'm the right fit?
That's okay.
A free consultation is simply a chance to connect. You can ask questions, tell me what's bringing you here, or simply get a feel for whether we'd work well together.
If it turns out I'm not the best fit, I'm always happy to help point you in the right direction.
Hi, I’m Kaley
Finding the right therapist can feel a little like online dating.
You read a handful of bios, wonder who you'll actually click with, and hope you make the right choice.
I don't take that lightly.
I want you to feel like you can exhale a little.
You don't have to worry about saying the "right" thing. Most people don't walk into their first session knowing exactly what they want to say. Some have a list on their phone. Some apologize for crying before they've even started. Some tell me they're not sure therapy will help.
All of that is completely okay.
Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, grieving, stuck, or simply trying to understand yourself a little better, you don't have to have everything figured out before we begin. My job is to help you make sense of what's been weighing on you while helping you build the tools and confidence to move through life with a little more ease.
Sometimes we'll talk through something that happened this week. Sometimes we'll notice patterns you've been carrying for years. We don't have to solve everything in one session.
Before opening my private practice, I worked in community mental health and inpatient psychiatry with people experiencing complex mental illnesses. That work reinforced something I believe deeply: everyone has a story, and everyone deserves to be met with compassion, not judgment. It's something I carry into every session today.
One area that's especially meaningful to me is supporting the people who love someone with severe mental illness.
Parents. Partners. Adult children. Siblings.
So often they're the ones holding everything together while quietly carrying an incredible amount themselves.
If that's you, I want you to know your experience matters too.
Therapy can be the one place where no one needs anything from you. A place where you can be honest about your fears, your grief, your frustration, and who you are outside of being someone else's support system.
I also work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, body image concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My approach is thoughtful, practical, and collaborative. I want therapy to help you feel better in your everyday life, not just during our sessions.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and New Jersey and earned my Doctor of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Before private practice, I also taught graduate social work students. I continue learning because I believe my clients deserve thoughtful, evidence-based care.
Therapy can be hard work, but it doesn't have to feel heavy every time. We'll probably laugh sometimes, too.
My goal is simple: I want you to feel like you have someone in your corner.
If you're wondering whether we'd be a good fit, I'd love to talk.
